I ordered a blazer worth £132 from this site. Once the parcel was sent, I received a notification stating that I would need to pay £62 in import charges. Note that this was after I had already paid for the package and for delivery. It does not state anywhere on the website nor at checkout that this would be the case.
£62 is basically half the cost of the blazer and I couldn't afford to pay this so I refused the package. During this time, I emailed multiple times to double check that the fees were not a mistake and if so, that I would refuse the parcel. I have yet to receive a response from them at all.
The parcel is currently being sent back to them but is sat in a warehouse in the UK as they have not accepted the charges yet for it to be sent back. The customer service here is absolutely horrendous and I should have read other reviews before purchasing as it seems that many other people have experienced terrible customer service.
I expect for emestudios to pay the charges to receive my return and for me to receive a full refund. I will hold them accountable if not and escalate if any issues arise.
